CARE CHANNEL
(Continuous Ambient Relaxation Environment Channel)
The Foundation supports the CARE Channel, a therapeutic environmental programming format for patient television designed to comfort patients over the full 24-hour cycle with distinct day and night-time programming. It promotes relaxation, reduces stress and anxiety, and enhances pain management protocols. Additionally, music practitioner and harpist Sue Hoadley provides soothing music as part of the HHNM Therapeutic Harp Program. This service program is provided to patients in the Heart Hospital of New Mexico as a direct outreach effort to heart patients from the Heart Hospital of New Mexico Foundation.
